Overview
Security systems
Technology does not replace people. It makes people more effective – when it is planned properly. A camera recording an area that is already overlooked has no value. A camera covering the one unobserved entrance, with somebody reviewing the footage, certainly does.
We integrate modern security systems – surveillance cameras, access controls and alarm systems – and plan them from the perspective of those who also walk the patrol rounds. That leads to different decisions than pure product advice.
Situation and risks
Security technology rarely fails because of the hardware:
- Cameras without review. Recording alone prevents nothing – it only documents what happened.
- Wrong angles. Backlight at the entrance, mounting too high, too wide a frame: people cannot be identified.
- False alarms. A system that triggers too often gets switched off or ignored – the worst of all states.
- Orphaned authorisations. Access cards of former employees that were never revoked.
- Data protection. CCTV without a legal basis, signage and a deletion policy is a legal risk, not a security gain.
- No responsibility. If nobody is defined to respond to an alarm, the system is decoration.
Our approach
We start with the question of what actually needs protecting and who responds to an alarm – only then with the question of equipment. The site walk shows where technology sensibly supports staffing and where a structural or organisational solution is cheaper and more effective.
For CCTV we focus on fields of view that actually show something: entrances rather than areas, correct height, avoiding backlight. For access control we focus on an authorisation concept that can be maintained – including the process for revoking rights when someone leaves.
On data protection we work through the basics with you: legal basis, purpose, signage, retention period, deletion policy, access rights. These belong in the planning, not the aftermath.
Technology and staffing interlock here: where a system triggers, our alarm response can carry out the inspection.
Scope of services
Security systems — Scope of services
Security analysis of the site
Survey of protection objectives, weak points and existing technology as the basis for any planning.
Video surveillance
Planning fields of view, camera selection and positioning with actual identifiability in mind.
Access control
Authorisation concept, card systems and processes for issue, change and revocation.
Intruder alarm technology
Alarm systems for commercial sites, matched to use and reporting chain.
Alarm management and reporting chain
Defining who is informed on alarm and who carries out the inspection.
Data protection compliant delivery
Legal basis, signage, retention and deletion policy as part of the planning.
Linked with staffing
Coordinating technology and patrols so the two work together.
Your benefits
Planned from practice
By people who also walk the rounds – not from a catalogue.
Data protection from the start
Legal basis and deletion policy belong in the planning.
Reporting chain over recording
We establish who responds – otherwise the system is decoration.
Honest recommendation
If your existing system is enough, we say so.

Enquiry
Type of property, protection objectives, existing technology, known incidents.
On-site security analysis
A walk-through focused on access, sight lines, lighting and workflows.
Concept
Fields of view, authorisations, reporting chain and data protection basis – in writing.
Implementation
Installation and configuration, handover together with you.
Briefing and review
Training for your staff and regular checks that everything still works.
Who this is for
- Commercial and office properties

Why Secure Concept
Why Secure Concept
We do not sell equipment whose purpose we cannot name. If your existing system is adequate and only needs reconfiguring, we say so – even when that leaves less for us.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
CCTV is permitted where there is a legal basis, the purpose is defined, the surveillance is signposted and retention and deletion are governed. Areas where employees would be under constant observation, and areas with particular protection needs, are critical. We plan fields of view to serve their purpose without capturing more than necessary – but the data protection assessment in the individual case belongs with your data protection officer or a lawyer.
There is no fixed number; the purpose governs. In practice commercial sites often work with short periods of a few days, because an incident becomes apparent in that time. What matters is that the period is defined in advance and that deletion actually happens technically. We configure the system accordingly; you set the period with your data protection officer.
