This statement describes the data this website processes — and only what actually takes place.

2. Server log files

When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in log files: the page requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and the IP address. This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in technically flawless operation). This data is not merged with other data sources.

3. Cookies and local storage

This website uses strictly necessary cookies only:

  • A session cookie, set only when submitting forms or signing in to the protected area. It protects against cross-site request forgery and is deleted when the browser is closed.
  • Your chosen appearance (light or dark) is stored in your browser's local storage. This information never leaves your device.
  • Your choice in the consent dialogue is stored in local storage so that you are not asked again on every visit.

    • The legal basis for strictly necessary cookies is § 25(2) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

    4. Fonts

    All fonts used are served exclusively from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external provider, and your IP address is not transmitted to any third party.

    5. Contact and quotation enquiries

    If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, email address, and where applicable telephone number, company, location and information about your project) in order to handle your enquiry.

    The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR on the basis of your consent. Your details are deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively dealt with, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.

    To protect against automated submissions we additionally record the time the form was opened and an irreversible checksum of your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored in plain text.

    6. Job applications

    If you send us an application, we process your details and documents solely for the purpose of the application procedure. The legal basis is § 26 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

    Uploaded documents are stored outside the publicly accessible directory and cannot be retrieved via the internet. If no employment relationship comes about, we delete your documents no later than six months after the procedure has concluded.

    7. Google Maps

    On the locations page we offer a map from Google Maps. The map is only loaded after you have explicitly agreed. No connection to Google is established beforehand.

    After you agree, your IP address and further usage data are transmitted to Google Ireland Limited and may be forwarded to the USA. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the privacy settings in the footer.

    9. Recipients and processing on our behalf

    This website is operated at a service provider within the European Union. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. Your data is not passed on to further third parties unless this is necessary in order to perform the contract or we are legally obliged to do so.

    You have the right at any time to:

    • information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
    • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
    • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
    • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
    • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
    • object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
    • withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
