Overview
Industrial security
Industrial security differs from ordinary property protection in one respect: operations continue. An industrial site does not stop while it is being secured – shift changes, delivery traffic, contractors, maintenance and emergency organisation all run in parallel and have to fit together.
Our industrial security provides a comprehensive solution for industrial sites. We protect employees, plant and sensitive information – and work in a way that does not slow production and logistics.
Situation and risks
Industrial sites carry a different risk profile from office buildings:
- Contractors on site. Maintenance, cleaning, construction firms – often with wide access and changing personnel.
- Works gate and weighbridge. Where material leaves the site, losses arise that only surface months later at stocktake.
- Loss of know-how. Photographs on the production floor, unescorted visitor routes through sensitive areas.
- Occupational safety. Anyone entering without personal protective equipment is a liability risk for the operator.
- Shift change. The least controlled moment of the day – many people, little oversight.
- Emergency organisation. On alarm it must be clear who opens gates, who directs the fire service and who supports the roll call.
Our approach
We build industrial security onto your existing organisation, not alongside it. In practice that means coordinating with your health and safety officer, the works fire brigade and plant management, and taking on defined tasks at the gate, on patrol and within the emergency organisation.
At the works gate we control personnel and vehicle traffic, maintain contractor records and check compliance with your access and PPE rules. On site our staff patrol on varying routes and check plant areas, gates, fencing and fire safety installations to your specification.
For alarms we hold a written role: open gates, direct responders, staff the assembly point, support the roll call.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Property protection focuses on the building and its contents, usually outside operating hours. Industrial security operates during production and additionally covers tasks tied to operations: works gate control, contractor management, enforcing safety rules, supporting shift changes and a defined role in the emergency organisation.
